Safety 1st Retirement is an independent insurance and financial planning firm. We are not affiliated with any single insurance carrier or fund family. Insurance products are sold through licensed Pennsylvania-resident producers.

Annuity and life insurance guarantees

All guarantees on annuity and life-insurance products are subject to the claims-paying ability of the issuing insurance carrier. We use only A-rated carriers and review their financial strength annually.

Medicare

We are not affiliated with the U.S. government or the federal Medicare program. We are licensed insurance agents who help you compare and enroll in Medicare Advantage, Supplement, and Prescription Drug plans offered by private insurance carriers.

Estate planning

Estate-planning legal documents (wills, trusts, powers of attorney) are prepared by licensed Pennsylvania attorneys with whom we coordinate. We are not attorneys and do not provide legal advice.

Tax planning

Tax-planning strategies discussed on this site are educational. We coordinate with your CPA or tax preparer; we do not file tax returns. We are not tax attorneys and do not provide tax advice.
